- Adventure out in hiking boots or on a mountain bike, or go 4-wheeling through our scenic trails
- Guided trail rides on horseback are offered at the ranch. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Call for current pricing.
- Kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and electric trolling boats are all available on the lake.
- Fishing is a favorite past time at Tatanka lake or on one of the 8 ponds, all stocked with Florida Bass and Channel Cat. Don’t be surprised if you reel in a 10 lb. or more large mouth bass!
- Climb Elvis’ Tower, our own piece of Rock and Roll history. The tower spirals 7 flights to breathtaking views of the entire complex and beyond. You might even see where “The King” left his mark in 1972.
- Bird watching and spotting rare and interesting wildlife are possible from our trails and deer stands.
- Recreational games include horseshoes, croquet, badminton, volleyball, Frisbee, flag football, and kiting.
Indoor
- Tatanka’s Arcade Game Room includes pool table, foosball, air hockey, pinball, ping pong table, jukebox, and a dart board.
- DVD rentals and book library available for guests to relax and unwind with a movie or stretch out in one of our many lounge areas with a good book.
- Assortments of board games are available in the lodge for a friendly competition.
Area Attractions
- The ranch is centrally located in Oklahoma’s rapidly developing wine country. Let us arrange a wine tasting tour highlighted by the Stableridge, Greenfield and Tidalschool wineries.
- Located within an hour of Oklahoma City’s Zoo and Omniplex, Remington Park horse track and casino, National Western Heritage Museum and Oklahoma City National Memorial built as a tribute to the federal workers and children who lost their lives in the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil prior to 9/11.
- Oklahoma City’s Bricktown features Toby Keith’s ‘I Love this Bar and Grill.’ Located on the river walk is a unique blend of restaurants, bars, theatres, Ball Park, and river boat rides.
- Tulsa’s Gilcrease Museum, Performing Arts Center, the historic Brady Center and the Tulsa Garden Center are within an hour’s drive of the ranch.
- Within a half hour of the ranch are Stroud and Chandler lakes, antiquing, unique western shopping, and Lazy E (rodeo) Arena in Guthrie.
- Route 66 is a short 15 minute drive from the ranch. Take in our section of the historic route and wrap up your trip at the Rock Café. The café was built to feed the workers as they constructed the highway through Stroud and has been highlighted in Gourmet Magazine and the Disney Movie, Cars.
